Corporate Entrepreneurship in a VUCA World

In an increasingly uncertain business environment, companies need to be agile in managing change and risks. More than ever, they need corporate entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs - employees who are drivers of innovation and think and act fast like business owners. This is the holy grail of talent management.

However, what is the difference between an entrepreneur and intrapreneur? How can you develop the skills of becoming an intrapreneur? How do you survive bureaucracy and make your case for doing things differently in a highly structured and regulated environment? On the other hand, if you are a professional desiring stability, how do you embrace uncertainty and ambiguity when making business or career decisions? Or as a leader, how do you develop a culture and mindset of intrapreneurship? What are the obstacles to intrapreneurship?

Join us in a lively evening to get answers from Anwar Jumabhoy, co-author of Nine Entrepreneurisms as he shares insights from his research and interviews of over 100 innovative organisations in US, Australia, India, Singapore and Malaysia.

Anwar Jumabhoy is co-author of 9 ENTREPRENEURisms: Management Practice for a VUCA World. Anwar speaks, coaches and writes on how large companies can adopt entrepreneurial management.
